Bigoted Victims

I'm beginning to notice more and more lately that conservative voters seem to think their freedom is being infringed upon when they are criticized for wanting to take away rights and freedoms from others.

Call me crazy, but I think when you are actively trying to take away someone else's freedom, you lose the right to complain about those people criticizing you. That's like throwing a rock at someone, and then playing the victim because you don't like that they called you a name afterwards.

The biggest difference is that their critics are not trying to take away the bigots' rights. They are simply trying to gain their own, which do not effect the bigots in any way, what-so-ever.

I am not going to judge someone for their beliefs, in my view you are absolutely free to be a bigot and live your life accordingly if you so choose. I fully support your right to needlessly hate whatever minority groups you choose to.

The only case in which I have a problem with this, is when you try to force your belief system on others, and try to turn the world's most celebrated democracy into a theocracy. Hell, you guys would probably rather have a Christian dictatorship or a god damn religious oligarchy.

These people constantly point to their religious texts as a reason for why they are horrible bigots, and they really think their religion should have dominion over the rest of America. Well, news flash, America has something called "Separation of Church and State", and your willingness to create laws based on your personal beliefs and force them on others who don't share your beliefs is extremely un-American and un-constitutional.

It's these same people who seem to think that people who aren't from America are not humans, and don't deserve the same rights. It's as if they have this superiority complex where they HAVE TO feel better than others to validate their own existence. They need to feel like they're a part of some exclusive club that others can't join in order to feel good about themselves.
